Does God love everyone?

God is love, and He created humanity to give Him His love. For this reason, we can know with certainty that every human being is loved and desired by God. God wants us humans to live in fellowship with Him so that we may prosper. However, humanity chose to leave fellowship with its Creator and Father and pursue its own path, which led itself and all of creation to ruin...

But because God loves us, He wants to reconcile us with Himself. For this purpose, God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to die for our sins and show us the way to God. If we are willing to listen to Jesus and turn to our Heavenly Father, then God is willing to forgive us our sins and give us eternal life so that we can live with Him forever and ever. In this way, God shows once again how much He loves us humans. God doesn't love us because we are lovable or because we deserve it. Anyone who chooses a life with God can personally experience God's love and care every day. For God is faithful and cares for those who love him.

The fact that God loves us humans does not mean that it does not matter to God how we live. Some churches teach that everyone goes to heaven, regardless of how they live. However, this assumption is based on a false understanding of God's love. God desires fellowship with us humans. A true love relationship, however, is never one-sided; it always involves both sides. By obeying God's commandments, we can show that we love God. On the other hand, those who disobey His will show that they do not care about God. Such a person remains separated from God forever and ends in damnation.

God has done everything to show humanity that He loves us. Now it's up to us to return His love by saying "YES!" to Jesus and allowing ourselves to be reconciled with God.

Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! (...)’

Ezekiel 33,11

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3,16

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. (...) Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

John 14,21-24

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Romans 5,8-9

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

  1st John 2,1-11

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

1st John 3,1

This is how we know what love is: He (Jesus) laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

  1st John 3,16

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
