Do all people go to heaven?

The Bible teaches that eternal life is a gift from God, received only by those who live godly lives. For this, man must recognize his guilt and his lost sin, which separates him from God.

Proponents of the so-called "universal reconciliation doctrine" claim that all people will be saved, even those who neither believe in Jesus nor have shown repentance for their sins throughout their lives. They invoke God's love for this. But God's love does not contradict His justice. Since God is holy, He cannot tolerate sin. Sin separates us humans from God and prevents us from fellowship with our Heavenly Father. To regain fellowship with God, a person must be willing to turn away from their sins and live according to God's commandments. Only in this way can the separation be overcome and peace with God restored. Once this step has been taken, God can cleanse our hearts of all wickedness.

Every person is called upon to make their own decisions in this life. There is no second chance after death. Jesus makes it clear that the path to life is narrow, and that only a relatively small portion of humanity reaches the goal. The reason for this is that very few people are willing to accept God's commandments and change their lives. Even though God fundamentally wants all people to be saved, He allows everyone the free choice to decide for or against God, and thus for or against eternal life. As long as a person lives, there is hope for them. But without salvation, they live in vain....

"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 7,21

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. (...) Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (...) Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Matthew 25,31-46

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3,16

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them."

John 3,36

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Acts 4,12

All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.

romans 2,12

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6,23

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1st Corinthians 6,9-10

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Galatians 1,6-9

For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

Philippians 3,18

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

 Revelation 21,8
