trauma
In psychology, analogous to trauma in medicine, a psychological, emotional or mental trauma is a psychological injury that is accompanied by a strong psychological shock and can be caused by very different experiences. The term is non-specific and is used to describe the experience of a dis-crepancy between a threatening event or an event experienced as a threat and the individual's ability to process what has been experienced. Both can differ in numerous characteristics such as quality, expression and consequences. (source: Wikipedia)
way to healing:
God is my comfort. His love heals my wounds.
I look forward and no longer
think about the past.
The present and my future
are in the handsof God, my Father.
I forgive those who have wronged me
and pray for them to repent.
